Who is it?

Almost 6 1/2 years ago, our wonderful babysitter took the first picture of Ella and Eli. I am pretty sure that Emmy and Everett look just like their big sister and brother. Okay, Everett has way more hair than Eli did (and weighs a little more) and Ella has more hair than all of them put together, but besides that they look alike :)

Everett's first food

Okay, so I still nurse ALL OF THE TIME. This kid can eat. So I decided, lets try the basics....Rice and banana. Needless to say, he couldn't stand either. Better luck next month!

Everett's first Christmas

We had Christmas dinner at our house and had a blast with our neighbors Larry and Kennesha. Their daughter is Emmy's best friend EVAH! Christmas day was fun, especially watching Everett trying to take the wrapping paper and putting it in his mouth. He was the cutest little elf in the world.

Winter in Hawaii

So we had our real first winter here in Hawaii. It rained for, what seemed like an entire week, but I am sure it was just a few days. Emmy wanted to play in the rain so bad, and she hadn't received her rain boots yet since they were one of her Christmas presents, so she stuck my raincoat on and sat in the rain. Needless to say, it was a picture moment, but what moment isn't a picture moment with her?!?

Sorry

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. Our camera is so AWESOME, all of the pictures I take are higher data and take longer to post, but pictures are coming soon!!!

Santa man

Everett's green fuzzibunz go perfectly with his Santa hat!!! If only you all could squeeze this little man....he is so luscious!!!

Big Island

The Black Sand Beach at Punalu'u Beach Park. The weather was quite windy, but we saw what we came to see.....soft black sand. There is also a green sand beach, but you have to hike 2 miles to get there, so that was out of the question!

Pele's flower. Taken by Ella. We have a little photographer in our midst.
This was amazing at the end of the "Chain of Craters Rd." We weren't able to see any flowing lava because you have to hike over old lava to get there and didn't feel it was safe for the kids, but we do plan on going back to see it before we leave!

Lava formation.

Pele the volcano goddess' flower. Legend goes if you pick this flower it will rain....someone must of picked it twice while we were there.

Kilauea Crater, right next to our camp we stayed at.

The plants and flowers were beautiful and I loved the shape of this leaf...looks like a heart.

More new camera pictures

The first picture is actually a series of quick snapshots that shows Ella moving her hands up and down, but it didn't turn out when I posted them all so you get to only see one! Of course, this one captures Emmy perfectly. Sneaking a sucker while looking Angelic! And if anyone can actually count Everett's wrinkles, I will send you a present from Hawaii!!!

New Camera

For my 34th birthday, I finally got my new camera, the Cannon Rebel T2i. I LOVE IT! Here are a few pictures that turned out so much better than a regular digital camera could ever take. Yes, Emmy caught another gecko. She tore off this itty bitty Gecko's tail within minutes, but at least she didn't love this one to death! She said she let "her" go back to her mommy! How sweet.

Spooky Day/ 3 parties

These pictures are from Halloween. Eli was a blood sucker and Ella was Drew Brees. Emmy wanted to stay home and hand out candy. She loved seeing all of the costumes. We had 3 seperate dress up days. One for Halloween, one for AWANAs (as Biblical Characters) and one for the childrens' party at Randy's hospital.

For AWANAs, Ella went as the Holy Ghost, Eli was David and Emersyn was an Angel, of course.
We can dream, can't we?

And you can see what everyone was at the hospital party. Isn't Everett a cute Frankenstein?

Pool time with friends

Our kids are absolutely in love with our neighbors the Buycks (sounds like Bikes). We decided to hit the pool last week and the kids loved playing with other kids, other than their siblings.

Boxcar racing

We were invited to a boxcar racing birthday. The kids had so much fun, we had never done that before. After 2 hours of being in the desert sun, Eli had heat exhaustion and Ella almost did too. They required us to wear jeans and tennis shoes.....We haven't worn jeans in 2 years!!!
