Another family visit

Once again, we had more family visit and this time is was my family. We did the quickest tour of Oahu we could possibly do, but we had fun. We went to the USS Arizona (cried of course), Polynesian Cultural Center, Bellows Beach and the Dole Plantation.

Krazy Karaoke Birthday

So for Ella's b-day, we decided to sing like rock-stars!! The kids were awesome and I had a great time. It was just too bad Randy was TDY and my parents didn't make it in until right after the party. All in all, I just hope Ella being 9 years old is as easy as it was when she was 8!!! Time is flying by......

More family fun

Well, we visited the Polynesian Cultural Center and Diamond Head and everything in between. Needless to say, I was exhausted, but in the past 3 months I have seen almost everything on this island. I am thinking this summer we may have to try out the Big Island!!!

Eli earns his camoflauge belt

Back in December, Eli once again proved worthy of moving up in Won Guk levels in Karate. He earned his camo belt after much practice and memorization. He did a fantastic job, but now we are preparing for testing next Saturday for his Green belt. That means he has to spar 3 people. That wouldn't be so bad, but Eli is really a pacifist when it comes to beating up anyone other than Ella!!! We know he can do it, we practice three times a day!!!

Christmas Cheer

Our Christmas was really great with all of the family, but boy we (my family of 5) were so homesick for some snow! This was my first Christmas with no snow, really! For a split second I missed the 5 feet of snow at Minot, but only for a second. We were so thrown off by 80 degree weather that we didn't even do any shopping until 2 weeks before Christmas. I have now made it a point to start looking for bases that accumulate snow for Christmas (you know, in 2 1/2 years when we leave paradise). No sooner than that though!

Trying to catch up!

This was the Kids' Christmas picture. They were really good for me at the beach until Emersyn decided to get taken by a wave and Eli had to jump in and save her! I told him "Now that is a real superhero!" He just said, "I hope she doesn't do it again, because I don't like getting all wet!!"

This was my quick "1950's" makeover for our Swim Team bowling party. These kids are too cute!

Christmas Dinner Group. I will post other pics, but for Christmas we had Randy's dad and Step-mom, Randy's sister and her friend Ryan, our friend Joi who works with Randy and then our ever-growing family of 5!
