Getting caught up! Romantic Kauai Trip

For our 11th anniversary, my wonderful mom stayed with our kids and we headed over to Kauai for 2 days. It was way to fast, but we got in a round of golf, a helicopter ride and some much needed "us" time. Hopefully we can do this once more before we leave the island. Next stop, Lanai!

AF Ball 2011

Can't tell how many glasses of wine I have had, but this AF BAll was one of the best I have ever been to! They paid a tribute to all of the AF past men and women, and then dedicated the evening to a Hawaii AF vet who had both legs and an arm blown off in Afghanistan. He was also the first AF amputee to be able to walk on prosthetics. It was an amazing story and he and his wife were there to celebrate! Then our guest speaker was 3 time Cowboys Superbowl Champ Chad Henning. What an amazing Christian man who is teaching men how to be honorable and to be leaders in their families. It was a great start to our 2 weeks with my parents, as they help watch the kids while Randy and I jet off to another island for a romantic weekend away!

Surfs Up

Now that I am finally physically able to surf (not preggers or nursing) we decided to go surfing!!! How could we possibly live in Hawaii and NOT surf?! So we took our quick 3 minute lesson (no kidding, the safety brief was on how to fall off the board so the coral wouldn't get our feet) and hopped in the water. It was rough, but so much fun. I took to it like a fish to water and so did Eli. Ella played it safe and rode the waves in while sitting, but she finally got up. Eli acted like he has been surfing for years and even rode a wave all the way onto the beach and hit the sand and flew off his board. It was so much fun and now I think Randy will even try it! It is probably the most exciting sport I have ever tried!!!

Hickam Beach, going away

Well, our last great neighbors, the Foxworths, moved away, so we spent the day at Hickam Beach for their going away party. We have been so blessed to meet such wonderful people. I know that we would have never met so many friends, if it weren't for the military! And as our new neighbors move in, I realize that we are once again going to have another set of great neighbors to build friendships with. Aloha!

Emmy turned 4!

My pictures are out of order and I can't figure out how to move them! Ha, well about a month ago, Emersyn Elizabeth Bosch turned 4. I am so amazed at how time is flying by. We let her chose a restaurant and friends that she wanted to bring. She chose ChuckECheese's and only one friend, Hannah. Her BFF Kendall recently moved and she really misses her, so she picked Hannah to go instead (since Kendall is in Washington, now). She had so much fun and I think small birthdays are so much more meaningful! Here's to another wild year with you, Emmy!

Straight from the water!

We were baptized on Aug 14, 2011. The funny thing is, is that was Everett's original due date, which is probably why it is so easy for me to remember! Emmy was the center of attention until we finally went in the water of the North Shore in Hale'iwa Hawaii. Many people ask why we felt we needed to be baptized, even though Randy I were both baptized as infants and then I was again as a teenager. My response is that Jesus was baptized as an adult, of a knowing age, the time when he was able to choose which direction he wanted to take his life. Ella was baptized (while the others were not) because she recently accepted Jesus and I really feel that she is at an age of "knowing" what it means to accept Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior! That doesn't mean that Eli and Emmy do not know Jesus, it just means that you have to understand what it means to be a Christian, not just leap into something that Daddy and Mommy says is right!

Ev turns 1 and a tea party

Everett turned 1! His super sweet sister baked him a yummy cake and even decorated it, but guess what? he didn't want anything to do with it! He touched the frosting and cried. So I stuck a little frosting in his mouth and Viola, he was ADDICTED. All of that sugar he has never had before....Needless to say, I had to scrape off the frosting and throw it away, even taking most of the cake and throwing it away, all because he was eating it like a madman! I should have known he was going to try to eat the entire piece of cake!

It was time for a "Spot of Tea". Everyday Emmy asks if we can have a tea party. She seriously thinks she is "In Training" to be a Princess! Of course, she is always going to be our Princess!

Where has time gone?

Okay, here is just a taste of Everett walking. Can you believe he will be 1 in less than a month??

He does walk more, but NEVER when my camera is rolling!!!

Cute lil' Jon Jon. Eli and Ella had SO much fun playing with their cousins.

Kirrah, who is only two but could sing you under a table!

I will be posting pictures of the rest of our tour around the Mainland soon!

Everett started crawling

When Everett was ready to turn 6 months, I began to freak out because the kids couldn't sit....so we practiced everyday til his 6 month appointment! Now, he won't stop hitting milestones and you know how hard that is for a mommy that knows this is her last baby :( But, he is crawling, teething, playing peekaboo and now pulling himself up to a standing position. I really wish he would slow down because I haven't baby proofed yet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWFn33oj458

Emmy sings the National Anthem and her state capitals

So, I figured out how to get videos uploaded quicker.....youtube. I know, I know, but I take whatever comes the quickest sometimes.

So, upon teaching Ella and Eli American fact, songs and capital, Emmy has learned the Star Spangled Banner and about 11 states and their capitals. Oh, she is a sponge. That means mommy and daddy have to watch what they say 24 hours a day!

Notice her cocky attitude while saying some of the capitals, she cracks us up!

Cousins and Ko'Olina

Staying at Ko'Olina with the Tillers was awesome! It was a nice little stay-cation and the kids loved seeing their cousins so much (so did Randy and I). We played at the beach and the pool and I burnt my skin to a crisp. Overall, it was the best stay-cation we have taken!!!
