The Big Arrival Day

On Monday, August 9, 2010, I had an appointment at 9:30am to have a procedure done to try to get this pregnancy sped up a little....which usually can start labor 1-3 days later, I started having contractions within ONE HOUR!!! So after walking all morning and getting my bags ready for the hospital, we returned back that afternoon and I was at 4 - 5 cm. They admitted me. I went walking and bouncing around the room, but my contractions felt painless to me so I asked to have my water broke to speed things along (we wanted baby Everett on 8-9-10). I was just told that having painless labor pains is a blessing because most women have horrible pains before even getting to the point of pushing and I only feel pain when it is time to push. So my water was broke at 7:30pm and I had Everett Randolph at 9:05pm. Of course, he was very big at 9lbs 2 oz and his head was 36 1/2 cm, which is almost 2-4 cm bigger than most baby's heads, so the actual pushing part was horrible, even causing me to tell the Dr. NO more than once when he told me to push!! So with one tiny stitch, Everett came out without a hitch, measuring 20.5 inches long! He is so sweet, reminding me how wonderful it is having newborn babies around!

We are extremely happy because we just realized we will never have to go through this and all this pain AGAIN.

He looks almost identical to Eli, even with a dimple in each cheek. Boy, we make some cute babies!!!!
The only reason why Emmy is missing is because she just spent the night without her mommy and was on my lap the whole time, even taking this picture!

I think this picture speaks for itself, but Eli has never been happier to be a big brother. He holds Everette constantly, which is HUGE because to get Eli away from playing with his friends outside is hard to do.

My boys.....
