AF Ball Sept 17th

The AF Ball was September 17th. I felt I should go since Randy designed the 100 year anniversary coin for Flight in the Pacific. We rented a hotel room at the Royal Hawaiian, which was gorgeous! I was told it was the first hotel in Waikiki. It had beautiful carvings on the door to our room and then it was decorated beautifully. Somehow, our wonderful babysitter watched Emerysn and Everett from 7-11, without any problems. Everett even slept from 9pm until 1am. It was a wonderful date night, even if only for a few hours and kids in our room!!!

Growing Boy

Beginning of September he was pretty big and heavy, but when we weighed him last week, he weighed 15lbs....I am guessing I feed him to often!!! He sure is a cute baby!

The Big Arrival Day

On Monday, August 9, 2010, I had an appointment at 9:30am to have a procedure done to try to get this pregnancy sped up a little....which usually can start labor 1-3 days later, I started having contractions within ONE HOUR!!! So after walking all morning and getting my bags ready for the hospital, we returned back that afternoon and I was at 4 - 5 cm. They admitted me. I went walking and bouncing around the room, but my contractions felt painless to me so I asked to have my water broke to speed things along (we wanted baby Everett on 8-9-10). I was just told that having painless labor pains is a blessing because most women have horrible pains before even getting to the point of pushing and I only feel pain when it is time to push. So my water was broke at 7:30pm and I had Everett Randolph at 9:05pm. Of course, he was very big at 9lbs 2 oz and his head was 36 1/2 cm, which is almost 2-4 cm bigger than most baby's heads, so the actual pushing part was horrible, even causing me to tell the Dr. NO more than once when he told me to push!! So with one tiny stitch, Everett came out without a hitch, measuring 20.5 inches long! He is so sweet, reminding me how wonderful it is having newborn babies around!

We are extremely happy because we just realized we will never have to go through this and all this pain AGAIN.

He looks almost identical to Eli, even with a dimple in each cheek. Boy, we make some cute babies!!!!
The only reason why Emmy is missing is because she just spent the night without her mommy and was on my lap the whole time, even taking this picture!

I think this picture speaks for itself, but Eli has never been happier to be a big brother. He holds Everette constantly, which is HUGE because to get Eli away from playing with his friends outside is hard to do.

New House

So we finally moved last week to a house half the size of what we had in Ewa Beach. Of course, the benefits outweigh the smallness, but it was really hard finding a place for everything. Enjoy the box pictures and I will try to post pictures once we are completely moved in. Until then, I will be nesting and organizing every day until Everett is born!!!

Aunt Becky's visit in June

The whole family went to the Arizona Memorial again, which is still so sad to watch. Eli really gets tore up over all the people who were killed, but who can blame him? We also took the Meyers' family on a small hike up to Makapu'u Lighthouse. I thought I was going to go into labor, but we made it! And that was after a day at Bellows Beach. We had a wonderful time and the kids absolutely loved their cousins Maddie and Everett to pieces!!!

Emmy's first pet

I was watering the lawn one day and saw something jumping through the grass. I thought for sure it was a grasshopper, but it ended up being this darling baby gecko. Emersyn loves any animal or critter alive, so I gave it to her. I guess that was a bad choice because as soon as I finished shooting this video and Emmy played a little longer with him, he stopped moving. I felt so bad for him, but what a good experience for Emmy. We will work on the "gentleness" part before baby Bosch is born!!!
