Sea Life Park

After an early Kaneohe baseball game, we decided to head over to our FAVORITE beach, Bellows. Well, we didn't realize that there had been a medical waste spill, and all the beaches were closed for cleanup....Can you say GROSS? So while we were over on that side of the island, we decided to take the kids over to Sea Life Park. It is very small, which surprised me since we do live on an island, but we spent $88 and as soon as we entered the park we saw Humpback Whales breaching in the ocean. So after all the Makapu'u lighthouse hikes we have taken, it took us to spend money in a "sea life" park to finally see whales!
If you can squint enough, you can see the spout and white waves where a whale had just breached.

Who knew there were monkeys at a "Sea Life" park?!?

One of three "Wolfphins" in the world. This one is actually the mommy to the other two. It is half dolphin and half "mock" killer whale. Looks like a dolphin with darker skin and a stubby nose!
